Convert turns media into the format you need — without sending your files to shady online converters. All work happens on your computer.

Pictures to JPG: Convert can turn these photo types into JPG — WebP, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIF, TIFF, and HEIC.

JPG to other formats: We will be adding the option to convert JPG into other picture types as well.

Music and video: Convert MP3 files to MP4 with either a still picture or a video — great for posting on YouTube. You also get full control over video files: change the audio, change the video, replace picture or sound tracks, and more.

Optional fade to black and silent on the last seconds. Pick quality including 360p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, or 4K. Results land in Desktop\Finished Conversions with today’s date in the name.

No more uploading private songs or photos to unknown websites. Convert keeps your files at home.

How to use it

1. Open Convert from the gold menu (or select a Hub media card first).
2. Drag your file into the Convert window.
3. Choose what to make (JPG, MP3, MP4 with still picture, MP4 with video, replace audio/video, and more).
4. Pick quality if asked. Press Instructions anytime for the full list.
5. Press Convert. When it finishes, open Desktop\Finished Conversions.
